Is Your Mind Chatter Conscious and Positive?

Today is a beautiful day and I am going to have a perfect day full of vigor and enthusiasm. This is one of the affirmations I usually tell myself as I open my eyes to welcome another day. I am a great addict of positive affirmations and each day is filled with many more such affirmations. I have seen, tested, felt and experienced the magic of positive mind chatter and how it could help balance your inner and outer focus. Affirmations are what we do all the time but most of them are unconscious responses. We eat the food we desire and wear the clothes we lie. We are unconsciously manifesting our affirmations of I like to eat … and I like this dress. The real magic begins to manifest in your life when you add the nutrient of conscious awareness to your affirmations. Watch out what did you affirm unconsciously today by evaluating your behaviours and actions as well as the judgements or beliefs you hold within yourself. This is a good starting point to start a great friendship with yourself and seek your divine right to stay healthy inside out. Try it and don’t resist if you see shadow side of yourself along with your virtues because shadows are the pathways that show us the light of virtues when we create an intention to make such sacred connection. Consciously affirm what you want changed in your life by creating a positive statement of what you want to experience instead.

How Do You Approach Dilemma?

I was pondering upon the nature of dilemma and why we go through the cycles of self doubt. It made me gain so much clarity about the nature of dilemma and I could sense how our need to have clarity puts us through situations that are good lessons to claim back our true self and freedom. First of all, why do we have dilemma? A dilemma is a result of confusion. Confusion arises from the lack of clarity about what we truly value and how we are compromising those values to please others unconsciously to create a false sense of security for ourselves. Most of us have no sense of values but we live our lives in a habitual routine fashion based upon viewpoints and beliefs we borrowed from our cultures and caregivers. Approaching our life and it’s events as spiritual beings in physical bodies is a gift we can give to ourselves. It will help us reconnect with our true values that emerge from our core self.It will help ease our difficulties in any area of life since life is simple but we make it complex through how we choose to identify ourselves. Our ego’s need to protect our soft selves from harsh outer world makes us put on masks of varied sorts. Simply watch your thoughts today and see what are your motivations behind those thoughts. Are you truly speaking your truth or are you trying to get the attention of other people to feel good about yourself? Are you kind enough to accept others with their faults or are you passing judgements out of resentment and anger? Are you in complete state of harmony and living your life from that center or are you living to the whims or fancies of others around you? Are you trying to control others or are you being controlled by others? We live in a constant state of motion and watching our motivations can give us some idea about how we are choosing to live life and what is our focus. It’s good exercise to ask yourself “What do I value the most and what is the order of my values? Am I living my day in alignment of those values? It’s quite insightful to know what value we are adding to our life and to that of others.Dilemma is quite resourceful source of self knowledge and I always take it to be an eye opener that opens my perception and expand my self knowledge and makes me see what I need to let go for the good of all.

Surrender is the Key

Our big fat egos are like the layers of fat in our bodies that need exercise to melt them. We may like to resist this by thinking “I don’t think so”. If this is your answer, ask yourself “Am I completely in harmony with the people around me or with myself?”  If you are, you may be right in thinking so; otherwise it’s time to be honest with yourself. The size of our egos vary like the sizes of our bodies. Some of us may need to exercise lesser than the others to surrender the darker aspects of our egos that may appear in the forms of resistance, anger and dislike.

Ego is a an essential part of our well being provided we have learnt to connect with the healthy aspects of it. What is a healthy ego? A person with a healthy ego takes responsibility for his actions and reactions. He doesn’t blame external circumstances and chooses to find the solutions instead of pondering on the problems. He constantly maintains healthy attitude and perceptions about himself and of things related to him. I’m sure it must be seeming like a lot of work for some of you and the thought itself must have created a reaction to turn away from further reading it. This is called resistance my friends. Identifying it is the first step on a journey to self development. It’s time to be aware that whatever turn you off is a resistance reaction in you that is preventing you from accepting something.

This awareness itself can help you to reach out to help yourself and expand your consciousness to experience that there is more to life than we have allowed ourselves to experience. Surrendering your resistance through self awareness and creating an intention to let go is the vital step to experience expansion in your consciousness and filling your life with abundance of growth and happiness.

Awareness Tip of the Day

You are getting a signal to become aware and change something  in you when you find yourself getting angry at someone or something. Ask yourself what is it that you hate about the person or the situation and why it has the power to affect you. May be you need to cultivate more patience, compassion, cooperation, kindness, flexibility or sensitivity.
