Our big fat egos are like the layers of fat in our bodies that need exercise to melt them. We may like to resist this by thinking “I don’t think so”. If this is your answer, ask yourself “Am I completely in harmony with the people around me or with myself?” If you are, you may be right in thinking so; otherwise it’s time to be honest with yourself. The size of our egos vary like the sizes of our bodies. Some of us may need to exercise lesser than the others to surrender the darker aspects of our egos that may appear in the forms of resistance, anger and dislike.

Ego is a an essential part of our well being provided we have learnt to connect with the healthy aspects of it. What is a healthy ego? A person with a healthy ego takes responsibility for his actions and reactions. He doesn’t blame external circumstances and chooses to find the solutions instead of pondering on the problems. He constantly maintains healthy attitude and perceptions about himself and of things related to him. I’m sure it must be seeming like a lot of work for some of you and the thought itself must have created a reaction to turn away from further reading it. This is called resistance my friends. Identifying it is the first step on a journey to self development. It’s time to be aware that whatever turn you off is a resistance reaction in you that is preventing you from accepting something.
This awareness itself can help you to reach out to help yourself and expand your consciousness to experience that there is more to life than we have allowed ourselves to experience. Surrendering your resistance through self awareness and creating an intention to let go is the vital step to experience expansion in your consciousness and filling your life with abundance of growth and happiness.
Awareness Tip of the Day
You are getting a signal to become aware and change something in you when you find yourself getting angry at someone or something. Ask yourself what is it that you hate about the person or the situation and why it has the power to affect you. May be you need to cultivate more patience, compassion, cooperation, kindness, flexibility or sensitivity.

We are always getting signals through people, situations and actions we undertake about the changes we can make to grow and expand our levels of happiness. Learning to attune to those signals need awareness and application of that awareness to filter information through different events that take place during the day. Remember how you feel when someone compliments you or criticizes you. Appreciation makes us feel good and criticism make us feel down. Feeling down is a signal about getting to know yourself better. Someone criticized you and you lost your mind to them. It is easy to feel like this but it becomes easier to live life if we begin to take more control of our emotions by attuning to them as an observer and begin to take control of how to recycle them for better world.I feel there is so much to focus on about ourselves when we we decide to go on a path of self development that is holistic, we find ourselves focusing and processing about the changes that improve our internal and external conditions. It is a constant process or I would say becomes a subconscious pattern once we are initiated into it. Initiation is a transition phase where we can find ourselves on a roller coaster ride experiencing confusion and varied emotions in our attempt to leave something we no longer want to be a part of us.
Natural rhythm of our body and mind is always at hand ready to serve us the moment we create an intention to attune to it. How much attuned are you to your natural rhythm or do you remember feeling that rhythm?
Awareness Tip of the Day
Tune to your natural rhythm by slowing down a bit and listen to the signals your body is giving about your actions that are making you feel tired and stressed. They may not be in sync with your true self.

Cleansing a greased utensil requires a a great deal of effort and we are well aware of the fact that if we fail to remove the oil from the utensil with cold water, we must bring to use the hot water. We are well aware of the external things and how to keep them clean if they look dirty. Do we ever make the same conscientious effort to create awareness of our emotional patterns? We dig and dig deep into the things that are completely unrelated to our personal lives and spend many hours talking of things and people that have practically no relationship to make a sensible difference in our lives. We are simply unaware of our own energy flow and lack of this awareness sets our life into a kind of pattern that feels familiar and so gives a sense of security and pleasure. We go through ups and downs like the waves of the ocean but fail to see from the distance the pattern of rising and falling that only a distant observer standing away from the ocean can see.
Creating emotional awareness is like setting a intention to be a distant observer who can see with complete clarity the rising and falling of the emotional waves that make or break our day. Developing emotional awareness is a skill and once we make make up our mind to focus on the emotions we create and relate to different situations and people, we are taking a step in the direction called self development.
Awareness Tip of the Day
Develop the habit of maintaining silence at the end of the day for 5 minutes and observe how you felt during the day; focus on how your emotions fluctuated like the voltage of a bulb. This will make you aware of some of your patterns.

We all want to stick with our habitual patterns since they seem to offer a sense of security and comfort. Treading the unfamiliar zone is always a scary thought. However, these habitual patterns do not always have the power to give us what we secretly want.

At the same time, we are are not aware of the the block in our awareness that stops us from attaining what we want. Getting to know ourself better and better with each passing day is a practice that helps to expand our horizons. This practice does involve a great deal of honesty and courage to dig into patterns we display that emanate negative thought for people, situations or for our own selves. Blaming and complaining are the most common collective consciousness patterns that we display from time to time. When we are doing so, we are completely unaware of the abundance of positive vibrations available and that we could learn to tune to for better health and well being. The experience of tuning into positive thought vibrations is indeed a gift you can give to yourself and learn more about the positive energy around you that is lying dormant.
Awareness Tip of the Day:
- Think of one habit of others that displeases you.
- Think if somewhere you also display that habit.
- Think why that habit has the power to displease you.
- The answer will at least make you aware of something you need to eliminate from your life.

There is a pattern in everything from the rhythmic cycle of nature to the behaviors we display. However, we are either not ready or eager or aware when we fail to see these patterns in our life. Making a habit to search for these patterns within us is something that interests me a lot. This enjoyment makes me take my attention away from the external objects that our mind constantly feeds on and develop that intimate time to look and connect within. I find it a really sacred space since it reveals to me the secrets that were lying unlocked for years and helps to connect with the power to transform through awareness.

I have certainly gone forward in this journey as I see myself becoming aware and breaking free from the habitual patterns that were nowhere near to help me move forward on the spiritual plane. As I advance in this journey, I find my space of happiness growing and expanding and a sense of true freedom emerging. A lot of mental patterns in our daily life enslave us since they demand fulfillment and if they are not fulfilled, we are led into frustration, depression, anger or simply resentment. It’s not easy to develop this habit unless we set an intention and then take an action through persistence to achieve it. Once this is done, we are led into a region of inspiration that becomes visible only when we learn to close our eyes to look within and then we come across the goddess of freedom that rejoices in letting go and loving the process in whatever we do.

Deeper states of relaxation can be experienced when we learn to tune our minds to alpha mind state. Average human beings stay in beta state of mind where rapid thoughts bombard the mind. Even though we are not actively talking but many thoughts cross the screen of our minds. This rapid activity stops us from experiencing deeper relaxation all the time in whatever we do.

Deeper relaxation does not mean inactivity. This state is a very alert state where mind is an observer while being an active participant. Stress and anxiety are induced when beta vibrations are attacking the mind and the mind is constantly thinking of past and future. The mindfulness of present moment consciousness is missing here. Buddhism focuses on maintaining mindfulness in everyday routine tasks like walking, cooking or any menial tasks since this can attune the mind to form a habit of meditating in the present moment. This is a very good spiritual practice since we are trying to stop our mind from connecting with the impressions of cultural conditioning. Cultural conditioning refers to fears of being judged, insecurities and other such lower vibrations. Our society is more focused on criticizing and judging rather than on accepting and appreciating differences and unconventional practices. I really like the Buddhist practice of meditating in everything we do because in doing so we are trying to connect with the task as a doer and are involved in the every step of the process of doing the task. This takes away the focus from contemplating the outcome and here is the important thing to understand. When we are not contemplating the outcome, we are disconnecting from the thought of being judged and from the anxiety it can cause . The focus is on the task and in such a state we become one with the task and lose our ego identity. This is a deeper and spiritual state of relaxation! You must have experienced it many times while doing things you enjoy doing the most but sustaining it in everything we do is a lesson we must learn. You don’t need a temple to worship. Everything we do is a worship when understood correctly.

We all have moments of “oh! I guessed it right!” or a gut instinct about someone or something that turns out to be true. In such moments we re connecting with our natural psychic instinct called intuition though we may not be aware of it.

Doubt, fear and other lower patterns of emotions in our subconscious rip off our connection with our power to use intuition in everything we do.Won’t it be nice if you begin to know that the decisions you are taking are not coming from the a doubt ridden mind anxious about the outcome but are coming from the connection with your deeper self that is grounded in higher patterns of emotions such as love, patience, faith, security and sweetness. These are the higher frequencies where intuition begins to resonate as it is also a higher frequency and needs right conditions to be activated just as an electrical appliance needs right voltage to be activated.
We are co-creating with the Universe what we see as our external circumstances. The cause of everything is within our thoughts but lack of awareness and too much emphasis on logical reasoning in everything we do takes away our capacity to connect with the intuitive side of us that comes from beyond the realm of reason. What reason do we give for how a flower gets its color or for the infinite variety of species on the planet. The Universe is abundant and vast and is beyond the limited perception of human mind . Connect with your magical side by aligning with the higher vibrations to live life in a more empowering way.
How to enhance intuition:
1 Connect with the moments of silence.
2 Take a walk in natural surroundings and feel your connection with Nature.
3 Think positive and purify yourself.
4 Forgive others and move forward.
5 Love yourself ad love others.
6 Understand that there is a Power greater than what your mind can comprehend.
7 Trust that Power.
8 Feel the Unity in the world around you and expand your horizon.
9 Unity consciousness is essential to feel closer to your true nature.

We are energy fields and we get this energy from Universal Life Force. We can’t see this subtle energy field with our naked eye but can develop sensitivity to see it in our mind’s eye. Just like the electricity runs through the wire, this subtle energy runs through our bodies. Chakras are the vortexes of energy that absorb and release the subtle energy. There are seven chakras that correspond to various parts of the body. The first chakra is root chakra and it is located at the base of the spine at back and near perineum in the front. Root chakra regulates our sense of security and survival instincts. It is physical in nature.

Its color is red. The second chakra is sacral chakra and it is located near the belly button. Sacral chakra regulates our emotions and our ability to attract and manifest our desires. It’s color is orange. It is emotional in nature. The third chakra is solar plexus and it is located between belly button and chest. Solar plexus chakra regulates our will power and achievements. It;s color is yellow. It is mental in nature. The fourth chakra is heart chakra. It regulates our nurturing and loving side. It is located in the middle of the chest. It is green in color. It is a link between the lower three chakras (root, sacral, solar plexus) and higher three chakras (throat, brow and crown). The fifth chakra is throat chakra and it is located in the throat. It regulates our ability to speak our truth. It is light blue in color. The sixth chakra is brow chakra and it is located between the eyebrows. It regulates our intuitive powers and connection with the higher dimensions. It is indigo blue in color. The seventh chakra is crown chakra and it is located above the crown of head. It is our connection with the Supreme. It is violet in color.
When we are not aware of our energy field and its true nature, we are not able to connect with the emotional blockages in our system. Our world thrives on negativity and disintegration more than integration and alignment. Bringing our energy system back into its true form is possible through awareness, knowledge, faith and action to transform. Meditate on seven chakras and draw energy from the Supreme Source to cleanse them to open them to their true potential. This will pave a way to balanced and empowered life.

We have invisible subtle energy field that gives us the nurturing energy to live each day of our life. We draw our energy from the the vibrational field surrounding us and this field has been created over the years as we grew up with different people and situations. All the experiences and thoughts created during that time of growing up are stored in this subtle energy system.

Our energy field is much like a magnet. It has the power to attract. Many people are not aware of this magical quality of our being due to blocks created in their energy systems. These blocks have been accumulated in different layers of their energy system over the years through cultural conditioning, negative mindsets and attitudes, narrow perspective of approaching situations and lack of knowledge about Universal Laws.
When we begin to clear ourselves of these blocks, we begin to understand our true purpose in this life and begin to align our energy filed to our Higher Purpose. This awareness brings more joy, harmony, balance and empowerment in our existence. This awareness brings us closer to our divine purpose and we begin to live each day of our life with more joy and contentment. We no longer live into a routine set into a certain pattern where we work 5 days and go for fun on holidays. Each day begins to unfold in the most creative way and we begin to appreciate the power of the present moment.

My attuning with emotions of collective mind helps me to understand my spiritual purpose with each passing day. The empathic gift Universe has chosen for me teaches me my true spiritual purpose. It’s important that we live each day of our life by focusing on Love in everything we do. I have been taught by Higher Guides that Love energy has the most powerful healing abilities.

It is the basis of life and attuning our senses to this Highest vibration will lay foundation for creating peace in life. Meditating on inhaling love in stressful situations and for people we are in conflict with can instantly calm the situation since you begin to release the tight negative emotions through forgiveness and love. Love is the ultimate strength and our planet needs this nurturing vibration more than ever now with so much turmoil around the world.
